Empower is live in Charlotte & the Research Triangle!

We are excited to announce that Empower is officially live in Charlotte and the Research Triangle!

 

Earn extra ride credit by referring as many riders and drivers in these new markets as possible! For a limited time, earn $10 in ride credit for every new rider you refer in Charlotte & the Research Triangle, and up to $30 in ride credit when every driver you refer completes their first subscription month in these markets. To refer a rider or driver:

  1. Open the Empower app
  2. Tap the menu icon in the top left corner
  3. Select “Refer a Friend” or “Refer a Driver”
  4. Share your code!

Pay your driver using Apple Pay and Google Pay

More ways to pay your driver! We’re excited to announce that you can now use Apple Pay or Google Pay to pay your driver.

Ride receipts

To receive receipts for your completed rides please verify your email address. To verify your email, please tap ‘View profile’ from the menu icon in the top left corner of the rider app. If your email is verified it will have a green check next to it. If it does not, please follow the prompts on your screen. Ride receipts will typically be sent within 30 minutes of completion of the ride.

When was the last time you asked an Uber driver how much they were making on a trip?

Drivers working for Uber only get about 50% of your fare on average. Drivers working for themselves using Empower’s software get 100% of your fare!

Next time you’re in an Uber, ask the driver how much of your fare Uber is paying them and make sure to tell them about Empower. Encourage them to become an Empower customer and to use your referral code. You can get up to $350 in ride credit for each driver you refer! Terms and conditions apply
