They will be expected to be in the field at either Dulles or DCA every day, pitching and signing up Uber and Lyft drivers, most of whom hate Uber and Lyft!

Empower is hiring NYC FIeld Operations Associates to help accelerate our rapid growth and transform the gig economy so that hard-working drivers can earn a sustainable living. As a Field Operations Associate, you’ll be responsible for creating, planning, staffing, and ensuring the success of NYC marketing events at bars, clubs, universities, and other venues to sign up riders and increase rider engagement. In other words, you’ll be paid to throw parties and make friends! NY General Manager
Empower is looking to immediately hire a General Manager to lead NYC operations. This is an opportunity to lead operations for the largest U.S. market. The NYC GM will be responsible for rider and driver acquisition, retention and engagement. This position will report directly to the CEO.

- Ability and desire to regularly work nights and weekends in connection with events in order to grow Empower as quickly as possible
- 3-8 years experience

Compensation:
- Base Salary of $100,000-$150,000

Senior iOS Engineer
Empower is seeking a Swift Ninja with 4+ years of mobile app development experience to join our growing team as we prepare to scale nationally.
Strong preference for candidates living in the DC metro area, or who are willing to relocate to DC; however, exceptional remote U.S. based candidates will be considered. Candidates must have an exceptional work ethic, excellent communication skills, and a desire to be part of a team disrupting the status quo.
The person in this role will work directly and extensively with our Head of Mobile, Eduardo Perez. This is an opportunity of a lifetime for an iOS engineer, but working at Empower is demanding and being successful on our team requires that you really love what you do. This role will require a standard work week of 50+ hours, and 60+ hour work weeks will sometimes be necessary.

Requirements
- Expertise in Swift
- Experience working at a startup or at a similarly intense environment
- 4+ years of iOS mobile app development experience
- Experience building consumer facing mobile apps for iPhone
- Familiarity with RESTful APIs to connect apps to backend
- Strong knowledge of iOS UI design principles and best practices
- Strong understanding of iOS frameworks and hands on integration of 3rd Party API.
- Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git
