Thank you for being our customer! The number of riders signing up for the platform continues to grow each day as drivers like YOU continue to let Uber and Lyft riders know about Empower. Remember that every ride you provide on those platforms is an opportunity to convert a rider so you can make more using Empower!

Make money referring drivers and riders:

For each paying subscriber that you refer, you’ll get up to $50 cash!  For each new rider you refer, you’ll get $10 cash!

All drivers have their own personal referral code that can be used to refer both riders and drivers. To access and share your referral code follow the steps below.

  1. Open the Empower Driver app and tap the menu icon

  2. Tap ‘Refer a driver’ or ‘Refer a rider’

  3. Share your referral code via text, email, FB, etc.!

Decrease in Stripe fees for drivers:

Empower is pleased to share that we have negotiated a decrease in the fees that Stripe charges drivers! Previously Stripe charged 2.6% + $0.19 per transaction. Empower was able to get Stripe to lower their transaction fees to 2.36% + $0.16! Empower was also able to get Stripe to lower the amount they charge when drivers withdraw funds out of Stripe from 0.25% + $0.20 per payout to 0.10% + $0.10 per payout!

The net result of these changes is that most Empower subscribers will save about $15 per month or about $200 per year! Highly engaged drivers will likely save $25 – $35 per month or $300 – $400 per year!

As a reminder, Empower does not make money off of these fees and we will continue to pass through to drivers any savings that we are able to negotiate on your behalf.

Earnings reminder:

Earnings in the Empower driver app are displayed differently than earnings on the Stripe dashboard. The Stripe dashboard shows the sum of fares after Stripe fees have been deducted. The earnings screen in the driver app shows earnings before Stripe fees have been deducted. Additionally, Stripe operates in a different time zone. As a result, Stripe dashboard earnings for any given “day” start and end at 8PM ET instead of midnight. We wish Stripe would operate on Eastern time, but they unfortunately do not.
